How we decide what to recommend, and how we keep it honest.
Independence
writingforu decides what to review, how to test it and what to recommend. Brands can't pay for a review, a ranking, a score or a "best" badge, and they never see an article before it's published.
How we choose products
We cover the tools writers ask us about and the ones that keep appearing in writing communities, whether or not they have an affiliate programme. If a product has no affiliate programme and it's the best choice, it's still our recommendation.
Accuracy and fact-checking
Every factual claim about pricing, features and policies is checked against the official source before publishing, and each article carries a fact-check list in our system that must be complete before it can go live. When we can't verify something, we say so or leave it out.
AI use
We may use software to help with research, outlines or spelling. Testing, opinions, scores and verdicts come from a human who used the product. An article can't be published while it contains unverified placeholders.
Updates and corrections
Articles show the date they were last updated and a "What changed" log. If you spot a mistake, contact us and we'll correct it and note the correction.
